English National Ballet - Manon

Friday, 19th October at the Opera House

As we have only sold six tickets for the Ballet, unfortunately they will cost £42 each. The money is needed by next weekend, 16th September. Please make cheques payable to A G McNabb. Thank you.

 Nutcracker

3rd January 2019

Are you interested in seeing the “Nutcracker” ballet, danced by a Russian Company. It will be on 3rd January 2019 at the Bridgewater Hall. Tickets £40 cash. Please sign list in the sacristy so we can gauge numbers.

Les Miserables at the Palace Theatre

St. Joseph's and Holy Family Walkers

Saturday, 27th October 2018

This is an all day walk. We meet at Staveley, Kendal at 10.00am for breakfast. This is approx. 80 miles from Sale. After breakfast we drive to Windermere. 1-2 boot on woodland paths and farmland. Not suitable for wheel or push chairs. It will take approx. 2.0 hours.

Parish Pilgrimage to the Holy Land

23rd-30th September 2019

A reminder that if you are interested/intending to join the Parish Pilgrimage to the Holy Land in September 2019, deposits of £400 per person are required by 23rd November. The total cost is £1470. Booking forms should be sent direct to Pilgrimage People. There are still some copies of the itinerary and booking form available in the sacristy.

 

Catholic Women's League

The CWL promotes and supports religious and intellectual interests and social work; ensures the presentation of Catholic interests on public bodies; for the formation and collective expression of Catholic public opinion including support of work at an international level through the World Union of Catholic Women's Organisations. Meetings are held on the Third Monday of the month.

 

Ring and Ride

Ring and Ride provides a door-to-door accessible minibus service for people of all ages who find it difficult to use ordinry public transport. Some parishioners make use of this service to attend the 11.00 a.m. Mass on Sundays but, in order to secure a regular service, need a couple more to join with them. If you need assistance, phone 0161 200 6011.

 

Union of Catholic Mothers

Meetings take place on Tueday afternoons 1.00 p.m. - 2.30 p.m. at Holy Family Parish Church. If anyone would like to join us, you would be made very welcome. Contact Joan Ryan, President on 0161 917 2166.

St Joseph's and Holy Family

Parent and Toddler Group

This popular Group meets each Monday morning from 10.00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. during term time, in the Holy Family Parish Centre. The Group has been in existence for many years and is organised by a team of parishioners who give their time on a voluntary basis.  If you feel you would like to become involved in the work of the Group, then further details can be obtained from Father Woolley on 973 1615 or Jane Simister on 969 9193, or call in on a Monday and see for yourself.

The usual CRB formalities will be applicable.

 

North West Thirtysomethings
