Christmas Concert at All Saints

7.30 p.m., Saturday, 14th December 2019

All Saints in Sale are again this year putting on a Christmas Concert for the All Saints Roof Fund. Saturday, 14th December at 7.30 p.m.. Tickets £5 - Pay at the door. Refreshments. A special night, enjoyed by all. All welcome for a Christmas Night filled with wonderful songs and carols.

St. Joseph's & Holy Family Walkers

Stockport Parks, Explore the River Goyt and surrounding woodland in Vernon and Woodbank Parks, 4 miles, 1-2 boot (due to steps, slopes and mud!). Friday, 27th December 2019

The 36th CAFOD Christmas Run/Walk will be on Friday, 27th December 2019, at 1.00 p.m. at Wavertree Park, Liverpool. The 7km course can be run or walked (2km) - family and friends very welcome. If you would like to participate, details from Kieron Walsh on 07785 344102. (Poster in narthex). Transport can be provided. More runners/walkers needed. All proceeds to CAFOD - to help others to help themselves this Christmas.


Welcome in the New Year in Company

On Wednesday, 1st January, Father Woolley would like to invite Parishioners who would be on their own on New Year's Day, to join him for lunch at the parish centre from 12.00 noon - 3.00 p.m., where hot soup, sandwiches and cakes will be served. If you would like to attend, please add your name to the list in the Sacristy. Let's welcome the New Year together. Phantom of the Opera

Seats have been booked for Phantom of the Opera for Tuesday, 12th May 2020. All seats are £60, whether in the circle or the stalls. Please put your name on the list in the sacristy with a contact number and where you wish to sit (circle seats have little leg room!). Names by 8th December please - money later.

Girlguiding - Sale Division

You could help us give girls in Sale opportunities for fun, friendship, challenge and adventure by volunteering with Girlguiding in Sale, an organisation that offers girls aged from 5 to 18 new and exciting opportunities and experiences. We have a range of flexible volunteeering opportunities that can be tailored to fit around your lifestyle. If you, or someone you know, wants to do something rewarding and worthwhile please register your interest at: and we will be in touch.


Catholic Women's League

 The CWL promotes and supports religious and intellectual interests and social work; ensures the presentation of Catholic interests on public bodies; for the formation and collective expression of Catholic public opinion including support of work at an international level through the World Union of Catholic Women's Organisations. Meetings are held on the Third Monday of the month.


Ring and Ride

Ring and Ride provides a door-to-door accessible minibus service for people of all ages who find it difficult to use ordinry public transport. Some parishioners make use of this service to attend the 11.00 a.m. Mass on Sundays but, in order to secure a regular service, need a couple more to join with them. Holy Family and St. Joseph's

Parent and Toddler Group

This popular Group meets each Monday morning from 10.00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. during term time, in the Holy Family Parish Centre. The Group has been in existence for many years and is organised by a team of parishioners who give their time on a voluntary basis.  If you feel you would like to become involved in the work of the Group, then further details can be obtained from Bernard Donoghue on 0161 973 4981 or Jane Simister on 969 9193, or call in on a Monday and see for yourself.

The usual CRB formalities will be applicable.


North West Thirtysomethings

Are you in your 30's? Would you like to meet other Catholics your age? We are a group who share the same faith and interests. Recent events have included art galleries, meals, theatre, city tours.
